European Trade Union Committee for Education

Ekaterina Efimenko is Coordinator for Democracy, Equality and Environment at European Trade Union Committee for Education (ETUCE). She has a teaching master’s degree in literature and linguistics, as well as a master’s in human rights. Ekaterina has an extensive experience working with the topics of inclusive education and teaching profession, democracy and citizenship education, human rights and environmental sustainability, representing the perspective of education trade unions in Europe. She coordinates the work of the ETUCE Standing Committee for Equality, Equality Expert Group and Status of Women Committee. She also coordinates European-funded projects on inclusion, democratic citizenship, and environmental sustainability in education and teaching profession, including the joint projects between education employers and education trade unions on the European level.
