Establishing a forum of discussion on the inclusion of gender sensitive education with the employers in education (European Federation of Education Employers)  furthermore fostered social dialogue within the education sector.

To fulfil the objectives within the project period, several activities were planned during the one year project period. These activities included a Peer Learning Activity, a Training Seminar and a Final Project Conference, all aimed at promoting gender sensitive education to encourage gender equality on the labour market. In support, the ETUCE  developed common European guidelines for its member organisations to implement at national level.

The project results were gathered in a project brochure for dissemination to all relevant stakeholders in education. A CD-ROM (2000 copies) containing the project results (PLA, Training Seminar and final conference reports in EN/FR and the final project brochure in English, French, German, Polish and Spanish) is facilitating the dissemination of the results to the organisations and individual teachers affiliated to the national unions. The reports from the various activities were disseminated via the ETUCE newsletter and made available for download on the ETUCE website where all information on the project, background, process and results will be published and constantly updated in English and French. The trade unions' national dissemination methods (newsletters, information sheets, national union action plans etc.) are contributing to a wider regional and local dissemination of the project results.
